The Tarry Crest Swim Team depends on parent volunteers to coordinate our many swim team activities as well as run the
meets. There is a place for everyone-from the newest team family to the "veterans" who have been doing this for
years. We encourage you to participate and we welcome your ideas and suggestions. Parent volunteers make our program a success;
we wouldn't have a team without you!
To make the most of it...
- Attend the team meeting in June. This is the best way to have your questions answered and to address any team
issues
- Keep informed. Read the bulletin board at the pool and check the website
- Make sure that your swimmer(s)
are at the pool during their practice time
- Post the team calendar in your home and know your swimmer(s) schedule
- Notify
the coaches of swimmer availability for Saturday 'A' meets as soon as possible.
- Volunteer your time at meets
during the season. Help is needed with ribbon writing, timing and recording.
- Any question or comments you have for
the coaches should be addressed before or after practice or via email (SwimTeam@TarryCrest.org)
- Cheer for all children,
not just your own.

Interested in helping out at a swim meet?
The swim meets are completely staffed by our volunteers and most jobs require little or no special training. It takes
about 10 parents from each team to run a swim meet. This includes jobs such as timers, ribbon writers, food sales and others.
Summer swim teams are for having fun-both for the swimmers, divers and for the parents. Contact us today to see how
you can help!
