Eligibility The diving team has been a part of the Tarry Crest Club's summer activities for many years. The diving team welcomes
all children, regardless of their skill level who are at least age 5 and who can pass the Tarry Crest Club deep water test.
Diving competition is held during the first part of the ‘A' swim meets on Saturday mornings. Divers are required
to be at the hosting team's pool one hour prior to the start time of the meet.
Diving competition is organized into the same age groups as swimming, from 8-under through the 15-18 age group.
All 8-and-under divers compete in every meet.
Beginning divers receive individual and small-group instruction in basic skills, with an emphasis on developing safe
diving. Practice sessions are organized by age groups, so that all divers have fun meeting new friends receive individual
attention. |
