Tarry Crest Swimming

Swimming is the heart of the Tarry Crest Club. Come enjoy recreation, exercise or just plain outdoor fun! 

Early Adult Swim is Back:
Adult morning lap swim is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays +  Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 AM

starting Tuesday, May 30.

Daily Adult Lap Swim:
Daily lap swim is every day from 10:00-12:00 and from 6:00-8:00 PM 

Swim Instruction:  

Lessons are available for those new to the water and for those looking to improve their strokes. To schedule lessons, contact our instructor, Grace Ryan, at tarrycrest.swiminstruction@gmail.com or text her at (914) 260-2132.

Fees for swim lessons:

• Private swim lessons: $30.00 per 1/2 hour 
  
• Group swim lessons (up to 4 children): $40.00 per 1/2 hour 
  

Dive Instruction

Lessons are available and taught by Tarry Crest Assistant Manager, Brian Tompkins. He is at the club daily so please inquire at the manager’s office.

Swim and Dive Team Information: 

Our team is a great opportunity for kids to have fun, improve their strokes, and engage in healthy competition. The team is open to children ages 5-18 who have passed their deep water test. Fees are $60 per child (maximum $125 per family).Register here.

Team Suit Fitting:

• June 7th 4:30-6:30

Pre-season swim practice:

• June 13, 15, 20, 22, 5:00 - 6:00 PM

Regular season:

• Swim practice: Weekdays June 26-July 28, 8:00 - 8:45 (10 and under); 
  8:45 - 9:30 (11 and over)

We have flexibility for 11 and older swimmers to come to the earlier practice time if needed. Please reach out to us.

Dive practice: June 26-July 28, 9:30 - 10:00 AM

Meets: We swim and dive against other clubs as part of theNorthern Westchester Swim Conference and participate in both Dual “A” (coaches develop the roster of swimmers and divers for each meet) and “B” (open to all swimmers and divers) meets.

Dual A meets: 

June 29 at Lewisboro 

July 6 at Whippoorwill  

July 11 at Lakeside 

July 22 at Pocantico 

July 25 Pocantico (home)

B Swim meets: July 5th, 12th and 19th (locations TBD)

B Dive meets: July 10th, 17th and 24th (locations TBD)

Division and NWSC Championship meets (coaches develop the roster for championships; 1st place swimmers from our division compete at All Stars):
